Brandon Clifford

Coach Clifford brings a strong record of success and leadership to our program. Over 15 seasons as a head coach in independent schools across the country, he has compiled a 333–151 career record, averaging more than 22 wins per season. His teams have won two state championships, reached four state championship games, made nine Final Four appearances, and won five conference championships across four different schools. More than 40 of his players have gone on to play college basketball, including many at the Division I level.


Most recently, Coach Clifford served as Head Coach at Caldwell Academy in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he led the team to the 2025 NCISAA 2A State Championship and back-to-back conference titles. In addition to his coaching success, Coach Clifford has served as a Dean of Students, Athletic Director, and teacher, and is deeply committed to supporting the development of student-athletes both on and off the court. He holds an M.S. in Recreation and Sport Administration from Western Kentucky University and a B.A. from Bellarmine University.
